Indy’s BLOG – A place for a few nights? [UPDATE: NO!] [UPDATE: MAYBE!]

Ivan called and he might found a sofa for us for the next few days and we can go there immediately to meet the girl living in the apartment. We went there and first, she agreed to give us shelter for a few days until we can go to Lei’s place, but a few hours later we received a WhatsApp and she told Vil that we can’t stay on her sofa because she fears about her stuff, I might destroy it.

I understand, but that’s never the case. I bit cables only once and the electrical shock was enough. I never put my nose in things I shouldn’t ….. Hmmmm,… maybe except some doggies but….

ARRGHHHHH! You need to imagine, we are not able to find a place for a few days without any issues.

She texted us via WhatsApp and apologized….. And finally she came over to the pub and we met face to fur and I think I made a quite good impression. She is nice and maybe we can stay on her sofa a few nights anyway. Let’s see.

It’s exhausting, tonight Vil was not very good, he woke up with a terrible headache and totally sweat wet. Maybe it’s a result of the nightmares, the bad dreams and the shitty situation. When he woke up he was not even able to move properly, his whole body aches and he is was really sick. Normally he would have stayed in bed a bit longer, but we need to move. After he was able to walk straight, we went to see our good friend Lei in town to have some coffee, food and a chat. She told us that she will go on holidays and she offered us to ‘babysit’ her house for a few days when she’s in the states. JACKPOT!, but still no solution.

Today we moved our stuff to Zaandijk, moved boxes (again) and we had a nice day until the landlady told us that she doesn’t feel good with us and we need to leave until the end of the month. WTF? That’s a new record. 🙂 We’ve got thrown out before we even finished moving in. We don’t understand why, but we need to accept. Arrghhhh.

That’s the second time we got screwed like this. Nothing personal, but why people doesn’t consider the consequences of their actions? Maybe first they see just the money and then they realize that nothing is free?! No idea, but unfortunate we need to life with the consequences.

Hey Guys, sorry to inform you, but the room for rent has been sold for 900 Euro per month!! Look how popular this room is! 🙂 It is also because of the location if you have the advertisement very well. It is off course because of the perfect location, on a five minutes walk to the Vondelpark and on a 15 minute’s to the Leidse Square/ City Center!!!! It is also AIRB and B alike. BUT the room will be coming available again in May. May be against the same price, but there I am not sure about. It will also be available via AirBandB. But I have not published the room over there on this moment. Many thanks for your responses!!! Regards, Ronald

Indy’s BLOG – Thinking about tomorrow!

It’s a very long story how we ended up in Badalona, but one year ago we relocated from Spain to Amsterdam, because Vil got a very nice job offer to be an internal cloud sales consultant for one of the biggest companies in the world. It was a very good job offer, but in the end, it didn’t work out.

We really struggled, we had no food, no job, no place to stay and Vil was seriously sick. But he didn’t give up, he fought and since then Vil was able to survive, his health is way better now and he even managed to score a job in one of the best companies in the world. He really likes his job, his manager likes him as well and after being very sick, he really wants to go back to work, but HOW?

Without a place for us, there is no way and if we don’t find a place he surely will lose his job soon. It’s a shitty situation. Since now we managed somehow to find places to sleep, live on very little money after we paid all bills, but now we run out of ideas. We are members of every website imaginable, we post on Facebook and on the intranet, but nothing, absolutely nothing. It’s frustrating.

All of this because of me! Vil could have way less ‘issues’, but he doesn’t want to give me up! Vil will never leave me alone. NEVER! As a result, on Monday, all our dreams will come to a shattering halt, we need to leave the place we stay right now and there is no place we can go.

All because we are not able to find an affordable and permanent place for us. STUPID! We tried literally everything, but somehow it’s not meant to be.

What will be? We have no idea and we might need to go back on the road, but we are not afraid about that, because we can stay together and that’s most important for us.
